Just a little update

I don't know why I thought I'd be able to keep up a blog, but obviously I'm horrible at it. It seems like the blog is silly unless I have something go on that's worth blogging about. Life is pretty mundane at the moment.

I got the promotion at work! I'm now officially a TV News producer. I still need to sign my contract, but we're working out a few kinks in it first. I now work overnight on the weekends and have two days off during the week, which I thought would be horrible. Surprisingly, I find that I actually have more time to keep the house clean and spend time with my husband. Sure, we don't get to go anywhere exciting on the weekends anymore since we only see each other for a few hours in the evenings two days a week, but that means we get to eat dinner together, watch a movie, or talk about important things two days a week. It's also keeping our expenses down since there are no more weekend adventures.

That's my only big news to speak of right now. I'll try to update this thing more reguarly, but we shall see whether that's something I'll actually accomplish. I'd like to use this as more than just a place to write about my life. I'd like to voice my opinions on current events and what-not.
